Reconciling Competing Interests over Land: Source of Livelihoods and Corporate Profit

30 March – 10 April 2009

 

Over the two and a half weeks, the e-discusssion on the competing interests over land investigated the motivations of the civil society and corporate sector driving competition over land. Some examples of flagrant disregard for community access to land contracted to corporations were given and possible ways for collaboration between civil society and the corporate sector were touched on.
