Child Rights

Page history last edited by Mariam Munang 9 mos ago

Child Rights are an area of strength within the Network of Practitioners, thanks in part to equalinrights' links with CRIN - the Child Rights Information Network.

Since mid-2007 equalinrights has been facilitating linkages among practitioners on Child Rights, in particular through periodic e-discussions using Skype (a free way to talk computer-to-computer). In October 2008, Equalinrights set up a Dgroup on Child Rights Programming and Rights Based Strategies

to follow through the series of e-discussions on child rights programming hosted earlier this year by Equalinrights and facilitated by War Child. The Dgroup aims to broaden and sustain the platform for sharing, discussing and exchanging practices and experiences in child rights and rights based strategies as well as to stimulate innovative learning processes and practices worldwide.

Let's take things a step further by using this wiki page to share resources and ideas on Child Rights. Add a link to a key website, write about your experience working in this field, share a relevant video or photo - it's up to you!

NEW!!

The report on Child Rights Monitoring and Evaluation e-discussion held last November is now available! Read report here.
